Among other objectives, we
Assists in stimulating progress, prosperity and social peace among the NCoS officials and the community that is served by the bank, through the creation of income generating opportunities for the entrepreneur whose phenomenal store of creativity and enterprise remains untapped for lack of capital;
Provide loans for the poor who do not have access to formal bank credit because of lack of collateral or due to microscopic size of their enterprise;
Provide basic training in micro-enterprise initiation; managing funds and savings concepts; simple book-keeping and accounting; economic and social strategies.
Mobilize deposits (savings and term deposits) for intermediation;
Provide Business Advisory Services towards the conception of new business ideas among Correctional Service staff and customers, that would enable them to undertake and develop long term, sustainable entrepreneurial activities;
Render payment services, such as salaries and pensions for the Nigerian Correctional Service and other customers;
Become a channel of outreach to the NCoS community on any Government Poverty Alleviation initiatives.
